US Travel Requirements as of September 14, 2021
Travel requirements vary by homeport country. Be sure you’re aware of both homeport country and Celebrity Cruises vaccine and testing requirements as they may differ. We will continually evaluate and update these requirements and protocols as new information becomes available. Booked guests will be advised of the latest requirements leading up to departure.

Requirements For Entering the US From Abroad

  • All non-US residents must present a negative NAAT or Antigen test taken within two days of travel.
  • Be sure to save a copy on your phone and bring a printed copy. Name on test results must match those on government issued identification.

Health Protocols and Requirements
All sailings departing the U.S. are subject to guidance from the CDC. Celebrity Cruises will continue to abide by CDC guidance and require all guests, 12 years and older to be fully vaccinated with all COVID-19 vaccine doses administered at least 14 days prior to sailing. To comply with this requirement, documentation of full vaccination must be provided at the terminal as a condition for boarding. We will sail with all crew vaccinated and at least 95% of guests will be fully vaccinated.

Currently, the CDC does not recognize any mixed combination of COVID-19 vaccines as fully vaccinated. For sailings departing the United States, to be recognized as fully vaccinated, guests 12 years of age and older, must complete a vaccine series with products from the same manufacturer, with the last dose administered at least 14 days prior to sailing. Additionally, Celebrity Cruise will not accept any form of Certificate of Recovery.

Out of an abundance of caution, Celebrity Cruises will be enhancing COVID-19 testing requirements for both vaccinated and unvaccinated guests. For sailings on or after September 13, 2021, departing through October 1st, 2021, all vaccinated guests are required to present a negative COVID-19 test result at the time of embarkation. This test may be taken as either as an PCR or Antigen or PCR test, conducted within two days of boarding the vessel. Each guest is responsible for making their own arrangements with an accredited testing provider as well as covering all associated costs.

Unvaccinated children between the ages of two and eleven years old will be required to bring a negative PCR or Antigen or PCR test conducted within three days of boarding. These guests will have an additional PCR test at the terminal prior to embarkation and on the day before disembarkation. A registration link for required testing will be emailed separately.

A registration link for required testing will be emailed separately. Should a guest be unable to complete the testing requirements, a 100% refund or Future Cruise Credit will be offered.

For fully vaccinated guests living in the United States, a home-test kit will be is available for purchase as of Wednesday, September 8, 2021. We are working with an authorized medical provider to be able to offer this option to our guests. You will complete your pre-cruise test right at home or at any other place of your choosing with the help of a live video supervision by a Certified Guide. These test kits will be delivered anywhere in the United States and Puerto Rico, within two business days and you will receive validated results in 15 minutes. Order At-home Test Kits

Should a guest be unable to complete the testing requirements, a 100% refund or Future Cruise Credit will be offered. Additional testing and protocols will be confirmed closer to your sailing departure date in line with the most up to date recommendations from local government and health officials as well as our Healthy Sail Panel. These measures, including vaccination and testing requirements, will evolve along with public health standards.

The governments of the Bahamas, Antigua, Dominica and the US Virgin Islands, have now advised all passengers ages 12 and older, traveling aboard a cruise ship, must be fully vaccinated in order for the ship to be allowed entry into the Bahamas, St. Johns, Roseau, St. Thomas, St. Croix, or St. John. To comply with this requirement, guests ages 12 and older must provide documentation of full vaccination at the terminal as a condition for boarding.

As of September 3, 2021, the government of the Bahamas will require all guests, 12 years of age and older, to be fully vaccinated in order to enter the country by air or sea. This will include guests traveling on a cruise ship. When arriving to the Bahamas directly by air, all guests, two years of age and older, regardless of vaccination status, will now be required to present a negative COVID-19 test result. This test may be taken as either a PCR test or an Antigen test, conducted within five days prior to arrival.
